Privacy Policy

facebrrr is run by Latent Software LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). This page says what we collect and what we do with it. In short: as little as we can, and we never sell it.

1. Your email

When you join the waitlist or buy a portrait, we keep your email address, the tier you picked, when you signed up, and the IP address and browser your request came from (to stop abuse). We use your email to tell you when facebrrr is ready, to deliver what you bought, and to answer you. Nothing else: no newsletters you didn't ask for.

2. Your photos

When you buy a portrait, the photo you upload is stored indefinitely in a private storage bucket, so we can re-roll your expressions later without asking you for the photo again. Nobody can reach it from the internet. If you want it gone, write to [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll delete it on request.

The generated images of your portrait are served publicly, but only on your own pack page and through your embed, because that is what the embed needs to work.

3. Analytics

We count visits with Umami, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. We see things like which pages were visited, from which country and which kind of device, and a few events on the page (a face picked, a clip recorded, the waitlist joined). Nothing in it identifies you.

4. Payments

Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. We see what Stripe tells us about the payment (your email, the amount, whether it went through).

5. Who else sees your data

The services that run facebrrr for us: our hosting provider, our storage provider, Stripe for payments, our email provider to send you mail, and the image-generation provider that makes your portrait from your photo. Each gets only what it needs to do that job. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time: [email protected].

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
